This is the Boy Born In Ink, my debut poetry collection. This book was born from a place of darkness into this world full of light and its a delight to finally bring it to you! This is my journey through that darkness and my way of sharing both the beauty and terrors my world has shown me. So, join me as we explore this world Born In Ink.

Part I: A Few Haiku's To Set The Mood

Dive right in with four short poems that take

you through the Trees, over Seas, into Homes,

and settle you down with a Friend in the end.

Part II: Welcome To My Mind

Don't mind the mess. I've done my best to keep

it kept and keep it swept and mopped and sorted,

but lately my thoughts have felt a bit contorted.

My mind has pulled me in many directions so please,

try not to get stuck in all my heavy and messy thoughts.

Follow the lines provided and I'll lead you with My Truth,

up past the Man On The Moon, into Infinity, where I Am.

Part III: Welcome To My Heart

It use to be hollow in here, until the light came in like

twinkling lights, so I Followed the Fairies, but I still

had to say So Long To My Old Self, but luckily I

had Your Little Secret Seed Of Hope with me to

light my way.

Part IV: Deep Down In My Soul

This place was once only full of pain,

so I wrote a Letter To Happiness,

but he never came. I've always

Feared Whats Inside, so

I remained a Silent Man.

Part V: Gods and Mortal Men

I met the father and he told me his secrets,

but instead of being selfish I shared them

with all His sons and daughters.

Prometheus, Icarus, and the Sandman

tried to stop me. I sailed straight into

Thanatos' Storms and

down The River Styx.

Part VI: In The End

This is simply The Human Condition

My Hope, In The End what I left

behind will find its way to you.
