It’s sad that some of us, so-called Christians, don’t truly know how to love like Jesus. Real love—Jesus love—is unconditional. No terms. No fine print. No “only if you agree with me” or “only if you do what I think is right.”
It shouldn’t matter whether we agree with someone or not. You do know we can agree to disagree, right? You can still love on people. You can still respect them, treat them with kindness, and show them the love of Jesus. That’s what He did. That’s what He commands us to do.
But instead, the moment someone does something we don’t like, the second they fall short or walk a path we don’t understand, we’re quick to judge. Quick to abandon. Quick to talk about them or even tear them down. And here’s the thing—I’m not even talking to unbelievers right now. I’m talking to believers. To the ones who know better.
You should be ashamed of yourself for acting like the world when you’re called to act like Jesus. Shame on you.
Jesus sees us lie, mess up, and hurt Him, yet He still forgives us. Still loves us. Still gives us grace we don’t deserve. His love doesn’t stop just because we fall short. And if He can love us like that, then why can’t we love others the same way?
We’re supposed to be like Jesus. So why are some of y’all acting hateful, judgmental, and hypocritical, yet claiming His name? That’s not love. That’s not Jesus.
So here’s the challenge today: get a heart check. Are you really loving like Jesus? Or are you just wearing the title?
Think about it.
