3 Ways to Sell More Digital Products (Even If You’re Just Getting Started) Number 3 is a Game changer!

I’ve been consistently selling digital products since 2021, it’s been a wild ride, but I’ve managed to build two seven-figure digital product businesses, and one six figure business.

I’m working on my fourth digital product brand as I write this, and over the years I’ve tapped into three ways to sell more digital products, and here they are:

If you’ve been struggling to make consistent sales from your digital products, you’re not alone. The digital marketplace is getting more competitive by the day — but the good news is, it’s still *wide open* for creators who know how to position themselves and market effectively.

1. Harness the Power of Pinterest

Pinterest is one of the most underrated marketing platforms for digital product creators. Unlike Instagram or TikTok, Pinterest is actually a search engine, meaning your content can keep bringing you traffic and sales months (and even years) after you post it.

If you sell eBooks, templates, or courses, you can create visually appealing pins that link directly to your sales pages or lead magnets. The best part? Pinterest users are planners and buyers. They go there to look for solutions, not just to scroll.

Here’s how to get started:

✔Create search-optimized pins for each of your products (use keywords people are actually searching for).

✔ Add your Payhip or website link to your pin.

✔ Make sure your pins are branded, clear, and visually appealing.

✔ Stay consistent. Even posting a few pins a day can help you grow a steady stream of organic traffic to your digital store.

Pinterest is one of my favorite traffic sources because it works in the background while I focus on creating — it’s a silent salesperson that keeps working for you.

2. Blog on the Platform You Sell From

Yes, you can and should blog on your own website, or use platforms like Medium and Vocal, but here’s a strategy most people completely overlook:

Blog directly on the platform where you sell your digital products.

For example, Payhip has a built-in blogging feature that lets you create posts inside your store. That means every time someone reads your content, they’re already on your storefront, just a click away from your products.

This is powerful because it removes friction. Instead of directing people from your blog to your store, your content and your offers live in one place. It’s a smooth, trust-building experience for your readers, and it increases the likelihood of a sale.

So, if you sell on Payhip, start posting short, value-packed blog articles that:

✔ Educate your audience about your niche.

✔Offer quick wins or useful resources.

✔Naturally link to your digital products at the end of each post.

Think of it as building a mini content ecosystem inside your own shop.

3. Join a Digital Product Marketing Circle

Now, this one is a game-changer.

A Digital Product Marketing Circle is a community of creators who come together to promote, support, and amplify each other’s offers. Think of it as a collaboration space designed to help you gain visibility, build credibility, and make more sales, faster.

Inside a marketing circle (like the one I run), you get:

✔ Shared promotion opportunities — members highlight each other’s products to new audiences.

✔Fresh visibility — more eyes on your offers without relying solely on ads.

✔Built-in accountability — you’re surrounded by people who are actively selling and creating momentum.

If you’re new to digital products or you’ve been selling for a while but haven’t gained consistent traction, joining a marketing circle can be the missing piece. You’ll learn faster, sell smarter, and build genuine relationships that can lead to collaborations, bundles, and long-term business growth.

Final Thoughts

Selling digital products successfully doesn’t have to be complicated, it just requires strategy and consistency.

If you take anything from this article, remember these three key moves:

1. Use Pinterest to drive long-term, organic traffic.

2. Blog where you sell (Payhip’s blog feature is gold).

3. Get inside a marketing circle that elevates your brand and connects you with aligned creators.

These are the exact strategies helping me and my students grow our income online, and they can absolutely work for you, too.

I'm currently doing something called a 33 Digital Abundance challenge where I post each day for 33 days, and use affirmations and mindset training to shift my identity to make a certain amount of money a month. I'm not revealing how much money I've decided to make, however, I will document my journey throughout this 33 day challenge.
