I'm always looking for new ways to make extra money, and I don't turn my nose up at an extra $100 a month, because every little helps, especially when you can invest that money into trading, stocks, or self-education, or even a camera for content.
Anyway, I'm testing a bunch of similar apps, and this is the first one I've tried in a while. As I type this, it's 23rd September 2026, and I signed up to Hey Cash on September 17th, but I didn't really put much effort into it until 21st September.
Here's what I did:
I played a few games such as bingo and number match games, nothing too difficult. I attempted several surveys and most of them didn't work out. I would either get kicked out of the survey, or I just wasn't eligible for them. But for each survey that wasn't successful, I would get a small bonus, usually less than a cent, or just a one or two cents.
I cashed out my first payment yesterday, the 22nd through a Visa prepaid giftcard called Tremendous.

I received $5, which is 5000 points. It's not much but to be honest, it's easy money. I did one survey which paid me just over $2 and the rest came from game play and bonuses.
I received another cashout today for $2, so in total, I've made just over $7 in two days, for less than a couple of hours of work. Definitely not life-changing money, but I would still highly recommend Hey Cash as a fun way to make some extra money.

The real money comes from referrals. You might not make thousands straight away from referrals, but it's worth sharing your referral link with friends and family and asking them to take part in a couple of surveys to earn some extra money, you get paid 10% of their survey earnings. Imagine if you have a huge social media following, you could potentially make thousands.

What are the pros of joining Hey Cash? Firstly, it's fun, and easy to use. You can make some extra money instead of doom scrolling which is always a plus.
Fast payout
They payout instantly, so you don't have to wait for days to get your cash. They also have several payout methods including Paypal and various gift cards, depending on your location. I chose the Tremendous Visa gift card because it's the easiest one to use, and there are no transaction fees.
Simple referral system
The referral system is simple, and transparent. All you have to do is share your link with friends, family, and your audience, and you see the referrals on your dashboard, see the image below:
Cons
I can't think of any major cons to be honest, because it's just a fun way to make some extra money. However, I will say that after you earn your first payout, the surveys are less, and you have to do quite a lot to earn from the games. So I would recommend referring as many people as possible to the platform to make more income for yourself that way.
Conclusion
Hey Cash is not a scam, it's one of the platforms that actually works, and you can make money from it. Obviously, you won't make thousands from playing games, but you can certainly make a decent amount from referring others to the platform to earn some extra money for themselves. As far as I can see, the platform is worldwide and anyone can join, but if you're in a country that doesn't have Apple Pay, or one that doesn't accept the Visa card or Amazon Gift card, you might find it difficult, although, they might have different payment options available for your country.
