The Universe Has Terrible Timing (and That’s How It Teaches Me Patience)

Divine timing sounds poetic — until you’re waiting, doubting, or wondering if the universe misplaced your file. But what if those pauses are the very proof that your alignment is still in motion?

We all say we trust divine timing.

Until divine timing decides to test it.

There are seasons when the universe moves so slowly it feels personal — as if it’s ignoring your prayers just to see what you’ll do next.

You visualize, affirm, release, manifest… and still nothing moves.

And that’s when the real ceremony begins.

When You Think You’re Ready (But You’re Not)

I used to think alignment meant acceleration.

If I was “in the flow,” things should fall into place immediately.

So when something I wanted didn’t happen on my timeline, I’d spiral — question my intuition, my energy, my worth.

I’d push harder.

Clear more blocks.

Do extra rituals.

Send my intentions out into the cosmos like follow-up emails:

“Hey Universe, just checking if you got my last one?”

But what I couldn’t see then was that waiting is not punishment.

It’s preparation.

The Calibration Between Ask and Arrival

Energy doesn’t work on a clock — it works in coherence.

And sometimes, coherence takes time.

The universe doesn’t delay to be cruel.

It delays because the version of you who made the request is not the same version who will receive it.

There’s a recalibration happening in the gap — a refinement, a re-alignment, a clearing of what can’t come with you into the next season.

If you got what you wanted when you first asked, it would have arrived half-formed.

So it waits until you’re ready to hold the full frequency.

That’s not rejection.

That’s protection.

When I Finally Stopped Chasing “Soon”

There was a point when I stopped manifesting and started listening.

I realized that my impatience wasn’t about timing — it was about trust.

So I made a simple promise:

“I will not rush what is becoming sacred.”

And everything softened.

I began to see how perfectly orchestrated the waiting was.

The delay wasn’t a detour.

It was design.

The Ceremony of Waiting

Waiting doesn’t mean stillness — it means alignment through devotion.

Here’s a simple ritual I use when everything feels paused:

🌿 Step 1 — Breathe the Space.

Inhale the unknown. Exhale the urge to fix.

🌿 Step 2 — Speak:

“Universe, I’m willing to be patient if it means being in harmony.”

🌿 Step 3 — Feel for Peace.

You’ll notice it arrives long before the thing you asked for.

That peace is the arrival.

💫 Final Note

If it feels like the universe has terrible timing, it’s because it’s teaching you divine patience — not the kind that waits passively, but the kind that builds power while staying soft.

Your manifestations are not lost.

They’re just becoming whole enough to meet you.

And when they do — it won’t be “late.”

It’ll be right on divine time.
