A qualified British EFL teacher with seven years of experience

In addition to being TEFL-certified, I have seven years of teaching experience, which has involved giving both in-person and online classes. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all abilities and ages, starting from as young as two, all the way up to adult learners. In addition to teaching various English skills such as speaking, writing, grammar and vocabulary, I also have experience in preparing students for the Cambridge First and Advanced Certificate exams, and giving business English lessons to working professionals.

Personalised and structured learning plans

I believe that every student is different and that learning English should be something that is fun and enjoyable. So, I like to tailor my classes to each individual person so that they fit their needs and personal interests. Whether you want to improve conversation, grammar, vocabulary, or writing skills, my classes can be adapted to your specific needs. I understand that it can sometimes be hard for students to understand grammar theory and difficult vocabulary, especially for beginners. Because of this, if students are native speakers of either French, Russian or Spanish, I am happy to provide them with explanations in their own language.

What is included?

Materials and Lesson Platform

All learning materials will be provided for students at no extra cost. These include grammar exercises, reading and listening comprehension exercises, PowerPoints and engaging speaking topics. All classes are conducted using online meeting or classroom platforms.

Homework

It is important to consolidate what you learn in the classroom. All students have the option of receiving homework after every lesson to help them practise by themselves, and then get feedback on it the following session.

Regular Feedback

Everybody learns from their mistakes. Therefore, I always take notes during class of errors that students make, which we revise together at the end. I also make sure to give feedback at the end of each lesson so that students know what they need to improve.

What classes are available?

English Conversation Classes

These classes are for students who want to improve their speaking skills and become more fluent. Students will be given the opportunity to practise speaking with a native teacher in a more informal setting. All materials are provided and students will also have the option of receiving homework after every class.
General English Classes

These classes are suitable for students who want a more structured way of practising different English skills. Lessons will be tailored to the student’s needs and will focus on the skills they want to improve the most, such as grammar, speaking, vocabulary, and writing etc. All materials are provided and students will also have the option of receiving homework after every class.
Cambridge Exams Classes

These classes are suitable for students who want to prepare for the B2 Cambridge FCE and C1 CAE Certificate, and they cover all four parts of the examination. All materials are provided and I also give students practice activities every week as homework, so that they receive regular feedback on their progress.
Business English Classes

These classes are suitable for students who wish to practise their English skills for the world of work. As well as covering a variety of business topics, these classes are also great for job seekers who wish to improve their CV and cover letter writing skills, and practise interviews. All materials are provided and students will also have the option of receiving homework after every class.
