About Ekela 💚

Welcome to Ekela, a little store with a big heart.

The name Ekela means “lonely,” but to us, it represents something deeper: the importance of feeling seen, understood, and accepted, even when the world feels a little different.

My son, Akhdan, is the heart of Ekela and the owner of this store, which we run together. As an autistic child, his journey has inspired us to create resources that make learning more accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for autistic and neurodivergent children.

At Ekela, we create activity books, printable learning materials, matching activities, emotional regulation trackers, and homeschool resources designed to support different learning needs. Every resource is thoughtfully created to encourage independence, build confidence, and make everyday learning feel less overwhelming.

We believe every child deserves the chance to learn in a way that works for them, without feeling pressured to fit into someone else's expectations. Our hope is that these resources help parents, teachers, and caregivers create learning experiences where children feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress.
