I want to take time to thank God for allowing me to have the energy and desire to share what’s on my heart and mind honestly. I pray that this reaches the people who need it, true and to the heart , especially in a time where so much has become AI devotionals and mechanical guidance.
God, the truth is we need You right now. There’s no real way of knowing what we’re supposed to do, where we’re supposed to go, or how we’re supposed to do it. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
Daily my mind and flesh try to make me feel guilty for sitting in the silence , for not doing anything. But right now, I honestly can’t. I don’t know the next step or the next move. But what I do know is that I have peace right now. I am more than sustained; I am safe. “My peace I give you… not as the world gives.” — John 14:27
It’s really hard to see the grace in each day when you’re too worried about whether or not you’ve done enough toward “fixing your problems.” But that’s the thing, when we’re going through life, it’s a lesson, but not in the traditional way. Not every lesson takes from you. Sometimes, through these life lessons, we learn the skills necessary to approach the next level.
This is why sometimes we catch ourselves back in a familiar spot, but it’s because God is bringing you back to show you what you’ve already learned. It’s confirmation that the next level is on the way. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6
Listen to the promise that says your heart is His and He knows what’s best for you. “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4
Your desires are right under your nose , not miles away. You simply have to align yourself with the belief that the promise will be fulfilled. This is not a pinky promise; this is a holy covenant that God makes with you.
The promise is delivered when you start to nourish the fruits of your spirit. If He comes by your fig tree and there are no figs, how will He know you’re ready for the season of harvest if you don’t manage the fruit while you’re still growing? Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruit.” — Matthew 7:16
You can’t lose sight of what you need to do just because you don’t see why. This doesn’t mean keep working tirelessly. It means put your pride aside and rest. Accept help when you need it. Ask God for guidance and bring Him the raw emotion you have in this paused period. “Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
If I’m speaking to you… give God the power again

Let Us Pray!
God, don’t let me lose sight of you just because I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t need that because you have always been a lamp to my foot so that I can see a clear path of where I’m at today. I may not know where I’m going but I hear your voice like the sheep hears his Shepard. I recognize your voice and I won’t turn towards the strangers. I may see the things that I think are fulfilling but ultimately it up to you and your word. You tell me not to be anxious for anything and that includes my little concerns. My work, my emotional intelligence, my growth. I know that I want a lot and I’ll get there, but its’s your word that I have to wait on. I will be still and find life in your word, revive my spirit with your promises. Thank you for always remembering me, and never putting me to shame. Alleviate the guilt of resting and not looking for a solution. I know that nothing I can do right now will solve my problems, only your guidance and favor. Continue to fill my cup and let it overflow, give me the wisdom to sew the hole in the generational pants pocket. I am aligned with the life I want and acting in the character of the woman I am suppose to be. I am so glad I am already in place for my blessings and accept them openly. In Jesus name make my path clear, let it be done in your name, Amen.
