“My country right or wrong, my country.”
If you are an American and have studied early American history you have probably heard the above statement. You were also told that this is a patriotic statement. Well, I don’t care who said it, it is not patriotic – not if you are a Christian.
Most Christians when asked if they would stand by their country, right or wrong and they would probably say yes. Also, most of these jewdeo-Christians, as I call them, would think that it’s unpatriotic if you don’t.
For those who have studied the Bible, will know that many times God chastised his people because they were doing wrong – and I mean the whole nation of Israel. Christians today would agree with this. After all, there were many times that Israel did evil in the sight of Yahweh, God. But if you were to ask these same people, they would think that their nation is right; their nation was right throughout most of its history. If they were told to go off to war, they would do it without question. If they saw someone that refused and you said that we were wrong and the so-called enemy was right, you would probably be called names, tell you that you were unpatriotic and you might even be arrested for being a traitor.
The Bible studies that I show, and there will be a lot more to come, will explain how we are wrong in so many areas of life; that we are not conforming to how we should live our lives according to the Bible.
