In life, we often encounter moments when we experience crashing, cutting, and connections, all of which shape our journey. When things crash down around us, it can feel like everything is falling apart, but these moments often bring the opportunity for growth and transformation. The cutting—whether of relationships, habits, or even our own pride—can feel painful, yet it is necessary for refining us. As the Bible says in Hebrews 12:11, "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."
Through these experiences of crashing and cutting, God is not abandoning us but rather preparing us for deeper connections—connections with Him and with others. John 15:2 reminds us that, "He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful." In our moments of breaking and refining, God is cultivating us to connect more deeply with His purpose, producing a richer and more meaningful life.
Ultimately, these challenges lead us to the most powerful connection of all: a closer relationship with our Creator. As 1 Corinthians 1:9 says, "God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." So, through the crashing, the cutting, and the connections, we are being shaped to live with greater purpose, strength, and unity in Christ.
