FangForge — Terms of Service

Welcome to FangForge. By purchasing, downloading, or using any FangForge product, you agree to the terms below.

If you have any questions about these terms, please contact me before purchasing or using an asset.

1. Purchases, Refunds & Chargebacks

• All sales are final.
• Please read the product description and requirements before purchasing.
• Refunds are generally not provided for accidental purchases, buyer's remorse, or simply changing your mind.
• Refunds may be considered if a product is undelivered, defective, or significantly different from its advertised description, subject to applicable laws and payment-provider requirements.
• If you experience a problem with your purchase, please contact me before filing a chargeback or payment dispute.
• I would much rather have the opportunity to help resolve the issue first.
• Unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes may result in a permanent ban from FangForge and restrictions on future purchases.
• A chargeback does not give permission to redistribute, share, leak, or continue distributing FangForge products.

2. Asset Usage

Unless a product listing specifically says otherwise, FangForge assets may be used for:

• Personal projects
• Commercial projects
• Paid commissions
• Free avatars
• Nitro avatars
• Public avatars
• Public worlds
• Monetized content

You may use FangForge assets in your own creations according to these terms.

You do not receive ownership of the original FangForge asset files.

You may not claim FangForge assets as your own creations.

Individual product pages may contain additional rules or restrictions. If a product has additional terms, those terms must also be followed.

3. Credit Requirements

Credit to FangForge is required when using my assets.

Whenever reasonably possible, credits should be placed somewhere easily accessible to people viewing or using the project.

VRChat Avatars

Credit FangForge in the avatar's description or another accessible credit section.

VRChat Worlds

Credit FangForge in the world description, credits area, or another clearly accessible location.

Commercial Projects & Commissions

Credit FangForge in the project's credits, description, or another visible and accessible location.

Social Media & Showcases

When showcasing a creation containing FangForge assets, include credit in the post, caption, description, or another accessible location whenever reasonably possible.

Credit Link

Your credit must contain a direct link to the specific FangForge asset page used.

If the original asset page is no longer available, you may instead link directly to the FangForge store.

Example:

Asset by FangForge — [Direct link to the asset]

Do not remove or intentionally hide required FangForge credits.

4. Commission & Asset Ownership

If a FangForge asset is being used in a commission, the asset must be properly owned or authorized for use.

Commissioner

The person commissioning the work is responsible for owning the FangForge assets they want included in their project, or otherwise having permission to use them.

Commission Artist

A commission artist must not download, use, or install FangForge assets that they do not personally own or have permission to use.

The commissioner purchasing an asset does not automatically give the commission artist permission to keep or reuse the original asset files for other projects.

The commissioner and artist are responsible for making sure they have the appropriate rights to use any assets included in the project.

Example

If a customer commissions an avatar and wants a FangForge outfit included:

• The customer must have legitimately purchased the outfit or otherwise have permission to use it.
• The artist must have appropriate authorization to use the asset for that commission.
• The artist may not keep, reuse, or redistribute the original asset files outside of the permissions granted by the asset's terms.
• The finished commissioned work may be used according to the permissions granted by the assets included in it.

When in doubt, contact me before using the asset.

5. No Leaking, Sharing or Redistribution

FangForge assets may not be leaked, shared, or redistributed.

You may NOT:

• Share FangForge asset files with people who have not purchased them.
• Upload FangForge assets to file-sharing websites.
• Leak FangForge avatars, worlds, assets, or other products.
• Resell the original FangForge files.
• Give away or trade the original asset files.
• Share your download links with other people.
• Upload FangForge files in a way that allows unauthorized users to obtain them.
• Include the original asset files in a downloadable package unless explicitly permitted.
• Claim or redistribute FangForge assets as your own.

Purchasing an asset gives you a license to use it under these terms. It does not give you ownership of the original files or permission to redistribute them.

6. Avatars, Worlds & Other Creations

These terms apply to FangForge products including, but not limited to:

• VRChat avatars
• VRChat worlds
• 3D models
• Clothing
• Accessories
• Props
• Textures
• Materials
• Particle effects
• Other digital assets

Product-specific terms may apply in addition to these general terms.

7. Violations

Breaking these terms may result in:

• Loss of access to FangForge products.
• Removal from FangForge's customer base.
• A temporary or permanent ban.
• Restrictions on future purchases.
• Revocation of permission to use FangForge assets, where legally permitted.

Serious violations such as leaking, unauthorized redistribution, or fraudulent payment disputes may result in an immediate permanent ban.

8. Questions & Permissions

If you're unsure whether something is allowed, ask before doing it.

If you need permission for something that isn't covered by these terms, contact FangForge before using or distributing the asset.

I'd rather answer a question beforehand than deal with a problem afterward.
