It’s Been Two Weeks—You Know What That Means! Bi-Weekly Blog Post Time!
Hey everyone! Time for another behind-the-scenes look at what I’ve been working on. Let’s jump right in!
Farming-Themed Digital Coloring Book
My next digital coloring book is centered around farming and features the dinos from my last book! This time, it’s less about full scenes and more about patterned-themed pages, though there will still be some scene-based illustrations. I’m aiming for 20 pages, plus a fully colorable cover and back—just like last time!
Coming up with ideas for this one has been a challenge, but I really want to push myself creatively. In the long run, I know this will help improve my art even more!
New Stickers in the Works
I’ve been working on two brand-new stickers:
A motivational turtle that says, “Don’t Give Up.”
- Sometimes, we all need a little reminder to keep going, and I know I do! This sticker is a small way to encourage others (and myself) when things get tough.
A goofy pet bird being noisy but adorable.
- I’ve been watching a lot of pet bird videos lately, and they bring me so much joy. I wanted to capture that feeling in sticker form!
Sleeping Cats Sticker Set – Remake!
I’ve been wanting to remake my sleeping cat sticker set, and it’s finally happening! Instead of just one sleeping pose, this new version will feature multiple different sleeping positions, including (of course) the classic loaf pose—because what’s a cat sticker set without it?
The colors will stay the same as my original stickers, but I’m still debating whether to offer a holographic option or just go with glossy. I love giving the choice between glossy and random holographic laminate, so I’ll think on it a bit more.
Knights of the Round Table… But Make It Birds
This was a random idea that popped into my head, but I love it—birds dressed in knight attire with a "Knights of the Round Table" theme! I think it’s an adorable concept, and the designs are turning out great.
Game Design & Balancing Everything
I haven’t outlined the sticker designs yet because I’ve been busy working on art for a game design project my husband and I are creating. It’s been a challenge, but it’s helping me improve my skills, and I really want to bring this game to life.
Don’t worry—my shop isn’t taking a backseat for too long! I might outline some of the new sticker art soon as a “refresher break” from the game project. Maybe when the game is finished, I’ll share a link so you can all see the hard work we put into it!
