Aleš Friedl is a psychologist by profession, specialized in clinical psychology by profession, and PhD in psychology by academic side.

Friedl does not have a formal musical education, nor does he say that he does not master any branch of music. Nor does he master the versatility of chords, not even octave types, or ancient Greek modes (Doric, Ionian, Aeolian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian...). Does he know the building of the Baroque Suite? Does he know what nevmes are? Or, what is serial music, aleatoric music, atonal music?

Friedl learned about all of the above while studying music theory, and this is how this music volume was created.
