FRONTIER introduces Pardners, cards with a new mechanic that helps you by tracking other players! Each Pardner card has a purple border and its own corresponding token, which is kept in the middle of the playing table. Pardners function like blue-bordered cards in all respects with the following additions:

Playing a Pardner card: Like most blue cards, you play Pardner cards in front of you. When played, take its corresponding token. Tokens are not affected by other playing cards and do not count as cards “in front of other players”.
Tracking a Player: Place the token in front of a player that meets the requirements of the Pardner card (i.e. “Track yourself”). That player is now a “tracked player”. Whenever the text of its corresponding Pardner card refer to the “tracked player”, it is referencing the player who has that token in front of him.
Discarding a Pardner card: Since they behave just like blue-bordered cards, Pardner cards may be discarded or drawn by playing Cat Balou, etc. Note that if a Pardner card is drawn or discarded, its token goes back to the middle of the table with the other unallocated tokens.
