Wormhole Series
The complete series of novels about the wormhole drive. Its invention, use, and effect on human society.
The Star Way, a laser propelled light sail highway in space, had been around for years. But so far it only linked Earth with the Centauri System. And it took over six years of travel time one-way!
Young inventor and physicist, Elias Mach, wanted to develop a better way. He discovered what became known as Mach's Metric which allowed the creation of a wormhole in space that could connect Earth and Centauri and other star systems almost instantly through the wormhole dimension.
Its development was dangerous for Mach personally but its use became dangerous for all humanity. As with most inventions, some would take the wormhole generator and cut corners, making it unsafe to operate. Others would deliberately bend Mach's invention to destructive purposes.
Mach, with the help of a few others, struggled to make his invention safe and by developing its defensive capabilities opposed those that would perfect it for war. But it was always a race, a race that Mach often seemed destined to lose.
The struggle is as old as humanity, the technology is extrapolated, future science, the story is here and now as we also struggle to use technology for our betterment and not harm.

Mach's Mission
Entertaining
"Interesting book: it has some science combined with a lot of pseudo-science which makes it interesting to a fan of hard Sci-fi, without too much research needed. When I first saw the plot outline it looked pretty dull but I actually enjoyed it. Thank you."
