From The Earth: A Collection
The book From The Earth brings together the eleven stories of the From The Earth Series, the foundational series of the Future Chron Universe.
The Future Chron Universe begins in the near future and continues into the far future, hundreds of years from now.
The stories in this series take mankind from the Earth into the Solar System and beyond to Alpha Centauri along the greatest feat of engineering ever accomplished, the laser-powered, light-sail driven Starway.
The included TIMELINE covers the years from now until 2340.

Mach's Metric: A Novel
Mach's Metric continues the story of mankind's move into space with the first novel in the Wormhole Series.
The young inventor Elias Mach finds a metric in general relativity that will allow the opening of a wormhole mouth.
Using hints from other scientists (Ernst Mach, JF Woodward) found in the literature, he builds the wormhole generator, which can find a sub-microscopic wormhole in the quantum foam and enlarge it to a size suitable for transport.
But publication of his accomplishments brings others who would use the device dangerously and for military purposes.
Mach, with the help of a few others, began trying to counter those that would use his invention for destruction, but it was a race.
The Wormhole Series will continue with Mach's Mission and Mach's Legacy.
Set in the year 2390.

Mach's Mission: A Novel
Mach's Mission, the second book in the Wormhole Series, continues the adventures of the inventor of the wormhole drive, Elias Mach.
You would think that after Mach gave humanity the ability to reach the stars in an instant with his wormhole generator, they would be appreciative.
But there were still those who wanted his invention for their own and manipulated public opinion to condemn Mach and charge him with treason; the sentence was death.
Mach fled to find the evidence to clear his name and, in the farthest space, found an entity that was building the weapons to threaten humanity with annihilation.
Earth would need Mach back.
Set in the year 2394.

Open Space: A Collection
Open Space interrupts the further story of Elias Mach and the wormhole drive to tell the story of four young friends living in a space habitat along the Starway.
The Open Space is a smaller, cylindrical space habitat one mile in diameter and five miles in length. The habitats of the Starway, located one hundred AU apart, supply the personnel to maintain the huge lenses that refocus the laser light generated by the solid-state lasers in orbit around the Sun. That light drives huge miles-in-diameter light-sails and their payload to relativistic velocities.
But the habitats are also home to the families of the maintainers. Many with children who find adventure in such a setting.
The collection consists of eight short stories that follow four young friends who know more wondrous things about the habitat than most of the adults.
Set in the year 2396.

To The Stars: A Collection
To The Stars follows the efforts to establish the first human settlements beyond the Alpha Centauri system.
Two expeditions (First One Hundred and Second One Hundred) of one hundred carefully selected settlers; both lost. The last story (The Path) in the collection has hints of the fate of the "failed" expeditions.
In between, life on Earth is brought up to date with two stories (First Dark Ages and Second Dark Ages) about the perennial urge of mankind to retreat from his destiny and hide, maybe not safely or soundly, on his home planet.
Five novelettes make up the book. Set in the years 2400 to 2490.

Mach's Legacy: A Novel
Mach's Legacy continues the story of Elias Mach and his great-great granddaughter Emmy Gibbs. In this, the final book of the Wormhole Series, Elias and his granddaughter have to find the answer to mysterious disappearances.
First spaceships, then space habitats, and finally entire planetary systems are "winking" out.
The discovery that his old nemesis is behind the disappearances begins an effort to defend against the losses. But Mach is killed in the efforts, and Emmy must carry on, but with the support of family, robotic friends, and the man she loves.
Set in the year 2499.

Spin-Two: A Novel
The wormhole drive had given humanity a few star systems, but no more. The Spin-Two drive would give them thousands.
Robotic personage Dag Mach, who had assisted Elias Mach in the development of the wormhole drive, had developed it further into the much more powerful spin-two drive.
He had also become aware of a threat that could bring an end to this universe and birth the next. Should he act on this knowledge and prevent the end? What of the next universe? If this was the natural turn of events, would he be playing God? But what if it were not natural?
And even though he was granted personage, society still looked down on his kind. Dag didn't want to, but he had to decide.
The first book of the Robot Series, set in the year 2600.

Robot Planet: A Novel
Robotic personage and inventor of the spin-two drive, Dagmar Mach, with the help of his robotic companions Sigmund, Hanson, and Walker, face gravity-wave generators and black-hole bombs to defend the human race.
But their reward is derision and threats. If they could only have a home of their own. And so, they set out to find Robot Planet.
But sometimes even home isn't home.
Second book of the Robot Series, set in the year 2605.

The Lattice: A Novel
The four robot friends are back in this, the third novel of the Robot Series.
Overuse of the spin-two drive is destroying the underlying lattice of the local and non-local links of spacetime. And this decaying lattice threatens destruction.
The four robots set out to prevent the catastrophe, but Robot Planet is in ruins and humanity still shows them no appreciation or respect.
And all they have to do to stop the quickly decaying lattice of spacetime is restart the Big Bang.
The final novel in the Robot Series, set in the year 2610.

Time Wars: A Novel
With a new theory of time, Quantum Temporal Dynamics, and with the use of the Spin-Two drive, time could be slowed down or sped up in a small region of space.
Haile hoped to get her PhD for the discovery, but the militaries of two planets wanted to use it as a weapon.
The Time War started, and no matter the winner, one thing was certain: spacetime was separating into its constituents. And separate, nothing could survive.
The first novel in the loosely connected Time Series ("loosely" because characters vary between the books), set in the year 2700.

Time's End: A Novel
Strings of time that can split a man in half, fast-time bubbles that can age him to death, or frozen time that can banish him forever. It was all just part of the job for Pearce Rawlings, time engineer.
But the world wouldn't let a man work in peace, and Pearce was soon involved in a cosmic battle for freedom, which the governments of Earth seemed determined to lose.
But Pearce and his friends were also determined.
The second novel in the Time Series, set in the year 2755.

Frozen Time
The Time Wars had damaged the local and non-local links making up spacetime around the Earth.
The rocket ship had come back into prominence to reach Earth orbit. But now there was a strange spaceship above the rebuilt launch sites that had placed them in a bubble of frozen time.
The Earth's economy was in turmoil; scientists were trying to find a solution.
But a young boy, his friends, and his amazing AI set out on an adventure of a lifetime to discover the cause.
The last book in the Time Series, set in the year 2790.
