The NewNPC mod is currently only available for 1.8.9 but will soon be available for 1.20 as well.
The 3D Skins mod is currently only available for 1.8.9 and 1.16.5.

The NewNPC mod works ONLY with Forge and specifically isn't compatible with Feather Client.
The 3D Skins mod works on Forge and is compatable with any launcher.
