Omega Taskforce was the fifth sci-fi series I wrote and it remains one of my favorites. I chose these six books (seven including the novella) as the first to sell direct, rather than be exclusive to Amazon, because I think it's a great introduction to me as a writer. It has heart and humor and tons of action but I think (I hope!) you'll find deeper meaning in there too, and a true connection between the characters.
As a massive fan of Star Trek, and also the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, I wanted to write something that had elements of both. I was also particularly fascinated by Section 31, trek's shadowy organization, so the idea of a black ops crew really grabbed me. What makes the crew in Omega Taskforce different is how they were selected and why this rather gruesome process makes them perfect to lead the fight against the brutal Sa'Nerra.
No spoilers here but the prequel novella, Omega Directive, sets the scene perfectly, and this book is included in the bundle deal, in both ebook and audiobook formats.
The real star of the show, however, is the crew's trusty beagle hound, Jinx. You don't meet her until a little later in the story but it's worth the wait! Below is an image I created using Midjourney!
