Hi y’all! I’m Jettie — the creative force behind Gen X Giraffe, proudly based in Texas.

My creative journey started in the early 2000s making bows 🎀 and paracord bracelets, but things really took off in 2011 when I started designing bottle cap images and launched the Facebook group “Bottlecap Images & More.” What began as a simple “I’ll just make it myself” moment grew into designing decals with my Cricut and eventually expanded into creating digital designs like PNGs and seamless patterns.

By day, I’m a teacher 🍎. By night (and weekends… and random free moments), I’m designing. Creating is my favorite way to unwind, and my inspiration comes from everyday life, the things that make my kids smile, and my lifelong love of all things 80s and 90s. If cassette tapes, neon colors, snarky attitudes, sarcasm, and a little retro nostalgia make you happy, you’re definitely in the right place.
