Hailing from Columbus, Georgia, Lakia "Kia" Carpenter is a multifaceted individual whose journey encompasses service, fashion, and a drive to empower others. A graduate of Carver High School's Class of 2008, Kia served her country as a veteran in the U.S. Army Reserve with the 358th Med Det. This dedication to service laid the foundation for her strong work ethic and leadership qualities.

In 2018, Kia embarked on a new creative adventure, stepping into the world of modeling. Her debut on the runway came with the impactful "For The Culture: For Us By Us" show by FUBU in November 2018. Since then, she has graced numerous prestigious platforms, including the Bronner Bros Hair Show (multiple years), Nairobi, Elabore Hair Manicure Company, and Dominion Beauty.

Beyond the runway, Kia has established herself as a sought-after brand ambassador, collaborating with various companies. Her versatility shines through her partnerships with stylists like Renicka Carswell (Flawless Beauty Impressions), Yubehandmade (Crochet Wear), Strands Fiber Arts Fashion (Stacie Jackson), and makeup artist Janay Knowlton of The Big Lip Chic.
