Dancer Agreement Contract – 2026 Season

I. PURPOSE AND NOTICE

Due to nationwide budget cuts in funding and grants affecting youth arts programs across our state, Haus of Dynamite has implemented cost-saving measures to ensure all children continue to have the opportunity to participate, perform, and develop their artistic skills.

As Program Director, I have decided to narrow down participation in parades and events for the 2026 season. The team will participate in up to five (5) local parades and one (1) out-of-state event for the year.

This adjustment allows our insurance and liability costs to remain affordable for families, at $20 per dancer per month, with mandatory monthly fundraising participation. Each member must contribute toward the team’s $100 monthly fundraising goal.

II. INSURANCE, FEES, AND FUNDRAISING

Each dancer and family is responsible for maintaining their monthly $20 insurance fee and contributing to team fundraising efforts.

Fundraising is mandatory and essential to cover insurance, venue, costume, and travel costs for the team’s continued operation.

III. REQUIRED ITEMS AND UNIFORMS

All participants are required to order and maintain:

  • Official Haus of Dynamite Team T-shirt
  • Baton
  • Home-base pom-poms
  • Required custom-made uniforms

Uniform orders must be placed when requested by the director. All uniform pieces are custom-designed per individual dancer’s size.

IV. UNIFORM COSTS, PAYMENTS, AND DEPOSITS

There are two required uniforms for the 2026 season one custom and one in our shop,

Payment Schedule:

  • Payments begin January 2026
  • Final payment due by March 1, 2026
  • Uniforms distributed during the first week of May 2026

Uniforms are produced on a first-come, first-served basis.

Production will not begin until a 50% deposit is made. Once the deposit is received, the uniform enters active production. This will take 8 weeks til payments are processed .

Late measurements or late payments may delay production and delivery. The designer is not obligated to pause or reorder materials for individuals who submit orders past the designated deadlines.

V. REFUND AND PAYMENT POLICY

All payments are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Reasons include:

  • Uniforms are custom-made to each dancer’s measurements.
  • Costs cover fabric, material, and labor, which cannot be recouped once production begins.
  • Cancellations after order submission cause financial loss to the designer and team operations.

Failure to make timely payments may result in withheld uniforms or suspension from participation until balances are paid in full.

VI. COSTUME RETURN POLICY

All red, white, and blue pom-poms must be returned to Natasha Rivera at the end of the season or upon withdrawal from the team.

Any Bomba, Plena, Merengue, or Dance Costumes provided by Haus of Dynamite and not personally purchased by you must also be returned immediately after each performance to Natasha Rivera.

VII. CANCELLATION & LEGAL ACTION

If a dancer or parent/guardian terminates participation before completing full payment, the remaining balance is still owed.

The designer reserves the right to pursue legal or civil action to recover unpaid balances, including court and legal fees. This includes cases where an order was submitted, materials purchased, and work initiated before termination.
