WE DID IT ! Sunshine, Music & Boricua Pride: Our Florida Parade Adventure šŸ‡µšŸ‡·ā˜€ļø

IT WAS HOT, IT WAS LOUD, WE KILLED IT !

What a week. Seriously—one of those whirlwind, heart-full, slightly exhausting, completely unforgettable experiences.

We touched down in Florida on Tuesday, and without wasting a second, we slipped straight into vacation mode. First stop? Relaxation. We scoped out the area, soaked in the warm air, and let it all sink in—we were really here. Of course, no arrival is complete without good food, so we headed to Golden Corral (because when you’re hungry, you commit), and then made our way over to the Orlando Eye on International Drive—my absolute favorite strip. The lights, the energy, the movement… it’s a vibe every single time.

Somewhere between prep and performance mode, we carved out time for magic—literally. We took the ferry over to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, hopped on rides, and ended the night watching fireworks burst across the sky. One of those moments where everything just feels right.

I even got to watch Michael the Movie and reconnect with an old Dynamite who lives there—such a full-circle kind of feeling.

And then… parade day.

Let’s be real—it was HOT. The kind of heat that drains you before you even get started. It was a long wait, delays stacked on delays, and by the time things got moving, we were already exhausted. But somehow, none of that mattered.

Because we made it fun.

We danced.

We blasted music.

We laughed.

We took all the selfies.

And then you start to hear it—the crowd in the distance. A buzz that grows louder. You look out and see it… waves of Puerto Rican flags everywhere. The sun beaming down, the colors shining, the energy rising.

Then our music hits.

Loud. Proud. Unmistakable.

People turned. Faces lit up. Some in shock, some in awe. That moment? It felt unreal. Like everything we worked for collided into one powerful second.

And I can honestly say—I’m proud.

Because in such a short time, we did everything.

We fundraised (twice!).

We registered.

We found our dresses.

We traveled.

We practiced.

We performed.

And we lived every moment in between.

It wasn’t perfect. It was better—it was real, loud, messy, joyful, and full of heart.

Florida gave us sunshine, memories, and a reminder of what we can do when we come together.

And we did that. šŸ’ƒšŸ½šŸ‡µšŸ‡·
