Ella: I’m back in my small town to help my grandmother—definitely not to fall for the grumpy landscaper. Right?

Cooper: And I’m just here for one-night stands, not to get tangled up with a brilliant marketer. But here we are...

Ella: Guess plans are meant to be broken?

Cooper: Let’s just say, crossing lines might lead to something unexpected.

Between their heated debates over business strategies and undeniable chemistry, these two wounded souls find themselves growing closer despite their best intentions. As old hurts resurface, both must decide if they're ready to risk their hearts for a second shot at love.

A steamy, emotional romance featuring small-town charm, forced proximity, and enough slow-burn tension to light up a summer night. Perfect for readers who love watching love bloom in the most unexpected gardens.

Of all the stupid, ridiculous things to happen, I had to run out of gas on this desolate road. I swear, the gas gauge was practically mocking me, blinking that empty tank warning like a neon sign.

    Talk about a cliché.

And then, as if things couldn’t get any worse, that… guy… shows up. Driving a beast of a truck, all dusty and rugged-looking. I’ll admit it, the man is gorgeous, with those piercing green eyes and that scruffy beard. But he’s so not my type.

  • She's returned to revive her family's legacy, he's determined to protect his own. She's got a vision, he's got the skills to make it happen.

But can they put aside their differences to cultivate a shared dream?

Relationships? They’re a damn minefield, that’s for sure. I’ve seen firsthand how messy they can get, how easily hearts get broken.

So yeah, I keep my distance. Keep things light. Casual. I’ve built walls around my heart, figuring it's better to avoid the whole damn mess than risk getting hurt again.

About Me

I'm a romance author who grew up in Germany before love swept me across the Atlantic. These days, I write full-time from my cozy Kentucky home, which I share with my military man and our two golden retrievers, Dakota and Tucker, who insist that regular cuddle breaks are essential to the creative process.

When I'm not pouring my heart into stories about perfectly imperfect love, you'll find me testing ice cream flavors (it's research!), powered by concerning amounts of coffee, or trying to convince myself that the gym is as fun as writing steamy scenes. My European roots have tangled beautifully with Southern charm, giving my stories a unique flavor that blends sweet, spicy, and everything in between.

I enjoy crafting these stories from my writing cave, though I dream of trading my sunroom for a tiny bungalow on a sunny beach one day. Until then, I'll keep creating characters who feel like old friends, love that hits like lightning, and the kind of chemistry that keeps you flipping the page.

So, grab your favorite comfort drink (or something stronger—I won't tell) settle in, and let me tell you a story about people who feel as real as your best friends, love that hits like a thunderbolt, and the kind of chemistry that lights up the page. Because in my world, everyone deserves a love story worth staying up all night to finish.
