Fantasies

When I was a child, I often played alone. During these times, my imagination was always going. One of my favorite fantasies was Native Americans coming to our farm. I was always on the lookout, unsure that it was safe to welcome them. These fantasies came from hearing that we had Native American relatives from family and reading Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Now as an adult, I find my fantasies taking on more substance. They are women and men who are seeking God in their daily lives. They struggle just as we do, and learn to live in such a way to glorify God. Sometimes they fall and have to repent. Sometimes they have come from terrible backgrounds. But no matter what, they show that God can help them through. Through them, I strive to encourage the readers that they too can have victory.

Maybe you have outgrown your fantasies. But no matter what, you have not outgrown God. He is still here with you ready to lead and guide you. I hope you allow Him to fill your life with His Presence.
