There are plenty of clues: comb size, wattles, pointed saddle feathers, curved tail feathers, thicker legs, spurs, crowing, and behavior. But anyone who raises chickens knows there’s always that ONE bird that keeps you guessing!
So, chicken keepers — what’s the first thing YOU look for when trying to tell a hen from a rooster?
