Miki Rei serves various communities from her home in the Greater Tampa Bay area of Florida. Her lenses and approaches to most things are informed by her 18 years as a combat veteran and instructor in the US Naval Special Warfare Community (not a SEAL), as a Communications and Crisis Management Professional, as an Executive Legislative Public Policy Consultant, and from her existence as a transgender human in the times we live in. She holds escalating degrees in Journalism, Communications, English Literature, and Communications Design Theory, and has held Adjunct Professor positions at both American University and the US Naval War College. She is a Producer of the quarterly event devour. at Deviance Tampa Bay, and has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Power Exchange Conference. She is a proud member of Women of Leather Florida (W.O.L.F.) and the covered Head of House of House Arashi, a Mil-Spec Structured Queer Leather Household in Central Florida. She is a direct, strident, and relentless Trans Leatherdyke.

Miki began her journey with knives and all manner of sharp things as an Army brat at the age of 6 in Atsugi Japan, primarily through Iaido and Kenjutsu. The results were a joyous and pervasive love affair with all manner of blades and how to use them at the highest possible levels. This obsession suddenly unlocked an unexpected world of sensation, balance, and control when just barely legal Miki discovered BDSM, and eventually led to her designing and forging her own steel specifically for knife play. Eagerly combining her passions, she’s spent many years translating her various skillsets, from both the military and martial worlds, into applicable high risk impact and knife play techniques and considerations. Miki strives to always remain student-minded as she continues to learn, grow, and share her skills as an enthusiastic educator serving her community.

Miki and Kim are a 24-7, D/s, Owner/LeatherDoll dynamic who each bring decades of practical, applicable BDSM and teaching experience fueled and supported by their over 20 years together through a variety of evolving environments and dynamics. They both share a genuine passion for accessible education and contextual storytelling, and find great joy in applying these lifelong loves in service to their community.
