About Me
Denise Rane is a resilient, compassionate voice for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Born in Waukegan, Illinois, she spent over five decades in Ohio and has called Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, home for the past several years. Denise has dedicated her life to transforming personal pain into purpose—empowering others to reclaim their worth and live lives they truly love.
With a deep love for learning, Denise has pursued education across various fields. She earned her Paralegal Certificate in 1988, became a Certified Life Coach in 2015, and completed her training as a Life Mastery Consultant in 2024. Throughout her journey, her Christian faith has remained the foundation of her strength and values.
As a survivor, Denise understands the burden of silent suffering and has made it her mission to end it. In her roles as a writer, speaker, and coach, she offers survivors not just hope but also tools, wisdom, and compassionate guidance to help them move beyond trauma and thrive. Since becoming an author in 2025, she has written about emotional intelligence, mindset, forgiveness, boundaries, somatic healing, and more—all aimed at equipping survivors with practical ways to create the life they love.
Her journey has not been without hardship—she has navigated abuse, harassment, divorce, single motherhood, and the challenges of starting over. Yet in each chapter, Denise has chosen bravery. Whether learning to fix bicycles as a mother or volunteering, she has shown up with heart, grit, and a firm belief that growth is always possible.
Denise is known for her kindness, tenacity, and lifelong commitment to seeking wisdom. Her lived experience—surviving trauma, navigating healing, and reclaiming her voice—shapes every tool and insight she shares, making her guidance both personal and profoundly relatable. She is always learning, growing, and sharing her discoveries to uplift others. While her jokes don’t always land, she believes laughter is an essential part of healing and is never afraid to try. Denise enjoys crafts, playing cards, solving mind puzzles, and, most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Through her books, workshops, and coaching, Denise is building a legacy of compassion, bravery, and selfless empowerment. She invites every survivor to step out of the shadows of shame and into the light of freedom, healing, and joyful living.
