For many of us, this event has become a cherished annual tradition, bringing together knitters, crocheters, and indie designers from all over the world. I’m excited to be participating once again – not only as a designer but also as a maker!
🧶 What Is the Indie Design Gift-A-Long?
The Indie Design Gift-A-Long (GAL) is a six-week holiday crafting event hosted on Ravelry. It’s a celebration of indie designers and a fun community-driven push to finish your handmade gifts before the end of the year.
The event includes:
- 8 KALs/CALs
- Games, chat threads, and community fun
- Hundreds of prizes
- Thousands of participating patterns
- A huge group of enthusiastic crafters to cheer you on

But here’s the great thing: you can participate with any paid pattern from the 98 participating designers, even if it’s not in the discounted bundle. That means if you’ve ever purchased one of my patterns (or something from any other designer in the event), you can jump right in!
