My passion for crochet squares began in 2018 when I first participated in Friends Around the World (FATW3). For this crochet event, I designed a 12-inch square called Wheat Bouquet. It works best with aran-weight yarn and a 5 mm hook. Since this project involves access to patterns forever free, I decided to open its web version for all users, both registered and unregistered. This granny square pattern is written in U.S. terms. A video tutorial for crocheting this block is also available (English only).
Because so many people joined in creating the event, this pattern is also available in other languages: Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Swedish, and Korean. All these variations, including English, are available in PDF format on Ravelry for free download. If you enjoy this project, I would love to see your variations on Instagram. Please tag me in your photos @itwasyarn so I don’t miss your post. I’m really excited to see how you use it! Happy crafting!
