My Healer.

Healing Is Available for You Today

How many times have you found yourself in pain, waiting for something to change? Have you ever felt like you have been carrying a burden for so long that hope seems far away? Do you remember the story in John 5, where Jesus healed a man at the Pool of Bethesda?

This story is not so different from our lives today. The Bible tells us about a man who had been suffering from an illness for thirty-eight years. For a long time, he waited by the pool, hoping for his chance to be healed. He felt helpless because he had no one to help him get into the water when it was stirred.

But Jesus saw him. Jesus knew his pain, his struggles, and how long he had been waiting. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew he had been in that condition for a long time, He asked him:

“Do you want to be made well?” — John 5:6

The man answered, explaining that he had no one to help him reach the pool:

“Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” — John 5:7

The man focused on what he lacked—the help he did not have and the obstacles standing in his way. But Jesus, in His love and compassion, did not focus on the problem. He focused on the solution. Jesus spoke with authority and told him:

“Rise, take up your bed and walk.” — John 5:8

Immediately, the man was healed. The Bible says:

“And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.” — John 5:9

The most beautiful part of this story is that healing was already available for him. He did not have to keep waiting. He did not have to remain in the same condition forever. When Jesus came into his life, everything changed.

My dear brother or sister, this same Jesus is reaching out to you today. He sees your pain, your struggles, your hidden battles, and the areas of your life that need healing. Nothing is invisible to Him. God cares about every part of you.

The Lord says:

“I am the Lord who heals you.” — Exodus 15:26

Jesus is still saying today: “Let Me do it. Let Me heal you. Let Me restore you.”

Just as the man in John 5 received his healing when he trusted Jesus, you can also bring your pain, your worries, and your broken places to Him. He is able to restore what has been hurting for years and bring hope where there has been suffering.

Whatever area of your life needs healing—your heart, your mind, your relationships, or your spirit—remember this:

God is able. Healing is available. Jesus is waiting for you.

Today’s prayer:

Lord Jesus, You are my Healer. You know me better than anyone else, and You know exactly what needs to be restored within me.

Lord, I believe You want to heal me. I surrender my heart, my pain, and my brokenness into Your loving hands.

Thank You for Your love and Your power to restore me.

Amen.
