We followed the Wonderer to a narrow path in the dark woods. It was a secret path. Only the spirits that dwell in the dark woods could have known the path. After some minutes of walking, we reached into a cave where a beautiful body of water was. A green moon illuminated the water. It rested peacefully at the depth of the magical water without fear. I could see all the anomalous fishes, creatures, mermaids, Thurmaidians (These were similar to mermaids but they were more beautiful. Their tails had a slightly reddish color, it was longer and broader at the end. Their hips were bigger and their hair was longer. They had pink pupils.) and other living things of the water. It was beautiful. Guess what? We were going to go into the water to reach the end of the Demonic Wilderness. The Wonderer didn't know how to talk but she knew sign language. Jean understood sign language.

"She is saying. Once we go in there, there is no turning back--in this secret passage of water." Jean said to Melisha and me.

"All this time I have been searching for the two-tides at the wrong place. This was the path that Harlem took. The prophecy was true all along." Marphious uttered. All of a sudden I got an idea.

"Are you Harlem?" I asked the Wonderer spirit that was in Melisha's body. She said yes in sign language. It was her. Her eyes glowed purple when I asked her if she saw Harlem. Marphious, Goklam, and Mundie were surprised. The truth had temporarily paralyzed them. They couldn't believe it. I knew she knew who the traitor was. I walked up to her and touched her with the Hacranium knife. She could speak now.

"We must leave at once. The Thurmaidians will bring us to the end of the wilderness." Harlem said. She tapped the water surface and some Thurmaidians surfaced. Everyone grabbed onto one of them. They were extremely fast in the water. They went deeper in the water, went through a big cave, and surfaced with us. Harlem closed the secret path so no demon could discover it.

"We must hurry before SHE swallows the soul of your friend Mattew. She is running out of time." Harlem warned me. I saw a small jade stone on the face of the ground. I took it up and Harlem told me it was a demon tracker that discloses our location to other demons. She took the demon tracker from me and used her powers to perish it. We followed her. Indeed there was a mole among us. The mysteries of a quisling were slowly becoming exposed.

Finally, everyone reached the Valley of the shadow of Death—the place where I was longing to be all this time. I didn't expect the Valley of the shadow of Death to be so beautiful. I thought it would be dark and paranormally unwelcoming. However, the view was welcoming. Nature had greeted our eyes with her belle. Don't worry Melisha we will save you before it is too late. I hope SHE doesn't get to you before we do. We saw the mighty demon dragon in the air flying around. It was enormous. I didn’t stand a chance against the flame-blowing beast of the air. I was too small and too coward.

"So, this is the Valley of the shadow of Death. I have a bad feeling about this." Jean said.

"Me too." DC joined her. Even the demons were fearful of the Valley of the shadow of Death.

"We have to reach Bahal before the Hell-Threats and the demons from the underworld reach there. They all want the power of the Hacranium." Harlem said.

I lost my balance when I stepped on a loose stone. I accidentally rolled down the steep hill in front of me. I descended the five hundred feet valley. I held on to the Hacranium knife as tight as I could. I lost my gun during the descent. I miraculously survived. I was still in one piece. Jean was on Mundie’s back while he ran down the valley with the others. Harlem took up my gun on her way down. They make the steep hill look so easy to run on. My experience was bitter and I didn’t want to relive that moment ever again.

Everyone reached where I was sound and safe. The dragon didn't see us. It flew away. For a minute there, I thought it saw us. Holy shit! Mundie accidentally stepped on a screamer—the demon bug.

"Run!" Goklam said. Suddenly, arrows and spears started gliding toward us in every which way.

"We found them!!" Gumantine shouted from a distance. The Hell-Threats were sprinting towards us and also other types of demons. We shot and killed as much as we could but they kept coming. Was this the end?
