Juliet Evingtine

Juliet is a unique character. She is caring, loving, confused when it comes to her true emotions and she is a go-getter when it comes to opportunity. Her dream is to have a better life and she didn't care how she accomplished that dream. Every decision has a consequence. Her consequence was leaving the man she loved behind when she was a young woman. She was promised a better life and a good career. Going to college was a big deal for Juliet as she wanted to become a nurse. Her family didn't have the money to send her to college so her choice was to become subject to a rich man's son. All she wanted was a better life for herself. She didn't consider the consequences. Money cannot buy love. Juliet had managed to suppress her true feelings for years. She met Sasha when she was going to Med School. They graduated the same year and worked at the same hospital.

Sasha

Sasha was an upfront individual. She was open with her thoughts. She is the type of woman that says anything that comes to her mind explicitly. She had a ghetto-type behavior about her. She was a tough woman and she was very protective of her friend, Juliet. She was an alpha female. She was nice and bitter sometimes as it relates to her behavior and self-conduct. She would always bother Juliet and call her funny names. Sasha was an independent gal. Juliet and Sasha were best friends. Unlike Juliet, Sasha didn't want a man to be in charge of her success and finance. She didn't want anyone to remind her that he or she was the one that send her to college. She worked hard and smartly for what she wanted. She respected the hardworking men that keep the streets clean that worked on garbage trucks that other people criticize as if they were contaminated materials. If anyone said anything about the hardworking men on the street she would get aggressive. She didn't like when people talk bad about the men that society underpaid and treated like trash. She respected them.

Dray

Dray was not so fortunate as Juliet, the love of his life. Dray loved Juliet very much. He would do anything to see her again. Before she left her hometown to go to college Dray's parents' disowned him and threw him out of the house because of value. They didn't value their son. Dray didn't have any choice but to run away as he was emotionally ruined. He had no one to turn to. The love he had for Juliet was unbreakable. He became mentally ill and homeless while others accomplish success. He was battered by strangers daily when he was homeless on the street. Fate had drawn Juliet and Dray together after years. A word from the author

I was inspired to write this story when I saw a homeless man on the street singing a song that connected with me. I wrote this story in the form of a screenplay because I know it would convey my thoughts and expressions properly. It is an inspiring emotional story.
