Hi everyone, this is the second week in May and its time to get going! The last frost chance should be behind us. Been busy but wanted to drop a note to update everyone following along.
This week I planted the Kentucky Wonder and the Bush Beans out in the Garden. The watermelon has been moved out to the Arch. The pumpkins, which I planted wayyy to early are doing ok, the cucumbers are starting to come up and the carrots are doing well. The peppers got destroyed by squirrels, the cantaloupe is about 2 inches high and the broccoli has mostly been eaten by something. Although the potatoes are all doing fantastic! The fig tree is doing good, it is my first fruit tree so we will see how it goes.
It has been a busy couple of weeks, as we had major storms and our water heater broke down. We managed to fix the fence, it was partially destroyed by one of the neighbors trees. And we replaced the hot water heater.
