Hi everyone!
Well its been a long summer hasn't it!
The garden has done well this year, with all of our new experiments coming to a close. We did a bit of investing on the yard this year- adding the trellis arch we built from cattle panels. It was definitely a win! The sweetie tomatoes are doing phenomenal, they have grown to over 7 ft tall. The green beans did awesome too, we got quite a bit of both, i have given away soo many tomatoes.
The loofah is doing pretty good, we have some really good size ones so far. I am letting them dry out more so we can see the loofah!! Hoping the squirrels don't eat them all before that time.
So far no pumpkins, i caught the squirrel eating the flowers, so that explains some things. So next year i will do them in the greenhouse and under a dome so they can't be destroyed by everything next time.
Now we wait for the Brandywine Tomatoes to get ripe and start the rest of our seeds for fall. It's getting late, but i think i will only be doing carrots, peas and some broccoli this year.
