There’s a stirring that comes when God places something on your heart. It may be a gentle nudge or a heavy burden, but either way—it’s an invitation to obedience. Too often, we hesitate. We question if it’s really Him, or we wait for “better timing.” Yet delayed obedience is often just another form of disobedience.
The prayer of a surrendered heart is this:
“Lord, whatever You are doing in this season, don’t do it without me!”
That’s not just a song lyric or a sentiment—it’s a posture of faith. It’s saying, God, I don’t want to miss Your movement. I don’t want to stand on the sidelines while You are working. Use me. Guide me. Place me in the center of Your will.
Reflection
Obedience may not always feel convenient, but it always leads to fruit. What has God laid on your heart to do in this season? Is it to reach out to someone, step into a new opportunity, or simply draw nearer in prayer and fasting? Don’t delay. Step forward.
Prayer
Lord, help me to obey quickly and fully what You place on my heart. Whatever You are doing in this season, don’t do it without me. I want to walk in Your will and be part of Your purpose. Amen.
