There is nothing quite like the energy of a bustling creative studio when a major deadline is on the horizon. If you’ve stepped into my workspace lately, you’ve probably heard the rhythmic, satisfying snap of the paper cutter, the clink of glass jars, and lines of custom-blended paint palettes drying in rows.
Right now, the studio is at absolute maximum velocity prepping a massive milestone event: a beautiful Sweet 16 celebration.
I am currently hand-crafting a custom gallery package of 20 experience kits for the big day. Every single element—from raw material selection to building the step-by-step video tutorials—is being curated right here to ensure the guests have a completely seamless, premium creative experience.
Refining the Details: The Canvas Setup
A huge part of scaling up the studio workflow means constantly refining the client experience. For this project, I’ve been adapting our reference layouts into a sleek, minimalist card design. It keeps the focus entirely on the artwork, giving the creators a clean, unobstructed guide as they paint.
Speaking of the artwork, the guest of honor hand-selected some incredible designs for their gallery collection. While sorting through the archives to pull the absolute perfect pieces for the event, one unreleased painting stood out so much that it completely demanded its own spotlight.
Opening the Vault: "Twin Currents"
Meet Twin Currents.
This piece captures a beautiful, fluid energy, balancing rich, textured blues with bold, striking movement. It didn't quite fit the narrative of our standard, permanent catalog, so it has been sitting safely in the studio vault—until now.
Because it’s doing double duty as a featured Sweet 16 gallery piece this month, I decided it was the perfect moment to unlock it for our broader creative community, too.
