I'm not a big tv, movie person. Usually because representation is light or problematic or the lighting is horrible. But I go in for Black queer media. The Color Purple, Drag Race,Pariah (made me cry until I ached) Moonlight, Friends & Lovers Show (the low-budget original; though I just discovered there is a 1 season spinoff on tubi). And on June 20th I'll be comfy cozy in front of my tv ready to fully digest the latest installment of Noah's Arc!
When I say I love these guys, I mean it down to my toes. Noah's Arc was revolutionary when it aired on LOGO tv all those years ago. It was fun, serious, sexy, and timely. Two seasons touched on so many things and gave the queer Black community something to get excited about.
I am beyond excited that a new movie with the cast is on its way. I love seeing how they've grown and evolved. It's something I can be excited about and share with my friends. Plus it's so BLACK and so GAY! How often do we get that!
