StoryTelling vs Telling Your Story

STORYTELLING vs TELLING YOUR STORY is huge in the online space and in the content you create but sadly most people don't realize that there's a difference between these two things.

In today's blog I am going to share with you the difference that way you can start using both types of content on social media to reach your ideal clients.

Everyone is out there talking about “share YOUR story” and you will attract paying clients.

Yes! This is true but not the whole truth.

Sharing your story leaves a majority of us feeling like we have nothing to share because our stories aren’t interesting enough to inspire or motivate others which leaves a lot of us without creating content consistently and sharing it online.

But it shouldn’t be this way.

Just because most of us didn’t choose to move to another country without a penny to our name and become this wealthy and successful influencer doesn’t mean that we should show up and share a story.

See everything we share is inspiring and motivating to our people and those people will buy from us BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE TELLING A STORY!

Don’t focus on YOUR story but focus on writing content that TELLS A STORY!

In order for your content to come across as a "must read" type of story it needs to have some really important storytelling elements.

Here are the elements a good piece of content that tells a story must have:

✔️Attention grabbing headline

✔️A Hook

✔️The Climax

✔️The Lesson

✔️ The Value

Sit down and write about anything you want and TELL A STORY and start attracting your clients with content that inspires, motivates, educates and most importantly GIVES SOOOO MUCH VALUE IT INSPIRES ACTION AND CHANGE!

Don’t try stress yourself out with trying to find a story to share.

Just show up and tell the a story that will position you as the go to expert they need in their lives!

How often do you struggle with know and sharing the difference?
