Hydro-cyclone Performance Assessment
This video describes how to use an Excel-based Hydrocyclone Performance Assessment Template.
The template was setup to measure the classification efficiency of an operating hydrocyclone.
📍Alpha value describes the ability of the hydrocyclone to retain coarse particles to the underflow
📍The d50c is the size fraction with the 50-50 chance to report to the overflow or the underflow
📍Water recovery (%) is the measure of the ability of the hydrocyclone to classify all fines to the overflow stream
