They are a reflection of your deepest desires of your heart and your highest potential of your soul. This year, let’s make it the year you say YES—to your aspirations, to your worth, and to your future. Create your own unique vision board that represents your values, intentions and dreams. The vision board is a magical tool to create enchantment from the deepest places within you and open the door to new opportunities.
Why vision board?
- A vision board brings you clarity on what you really want (many people have no clue what they want because their mind is fully occupied with what they do not want).
- When you bring all your dreams and desires into one single place, it becomes your reminder to stay focused. Distractions have no chance.
- Neuroscientifically, you are programming your brain to notice opportunities and resources as they appear that support your intentions.
- Visual imaginary speaks directly to your subconscious mind by processed information in pictures and emotions. According to recent estimates, only 5% of human brain is conscious and remaining majority is subconscious. This means our subconscious mind controls 95% of your life!
- Our subconscious mind is primal and communicates via images, feelings, metaphors, and symbols focusing on emotion rather than logic and reason.
So this is how you do it:
- Create a sacred space and bring peace into your mind – lit a candle, breathe and meditate, take a moment to pause, and then refocus to whatever inspires, excites and energizes you.
- Ask a magical question “What would you like to have happen” in 2025? Ask this question for each area in your life – health, family, relationships, job, leisure time, finances, your physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs, and don’t forget the self-care part.
- Take time to go through the magazines, photos, internet images, oracle cards or other digital tools to choose images and symbols that represent the energies you would like to experience in all those areas of your life. Perhaps you find the images or screenshots saved on your phone or some pictures in the magazines that you put aside a while ago because you liked them.
- Place yourself in the center and put all the images around it, so it looks like a circle.
- Make it easy and let the energy flow. If you get overwhelmed, stop, take a break and come back later.
- Remember to enchant only that what serves the highest good of all. If you make yourself happy, you bless other people's life because you are sharing your light from a full cup.
- Hang your vision board somewhere where you can often see it and follow your intuitive nudges by taking action, step by step, closer to your dream. It is like planting a seed, all you need to do is let it grow now and take action when the seed needs to be watered and feel loved.
- Celebrate each progress you make on the way! I mean really celebrate, show the universe your gratitude and joy!
The last vision board I created two years ago included beautiful pictures of nature and trees, and guess what – within a year my husband bought a land in the forest where we now spent lots of time communing with the nature, breathing the fresh air, skiing in the winter, or grilling sausages on the fire, picnicking, hiking and lying in the grass in the summer. This land came as a blessing to us, bringing so much enriching moments into our lives, so much connection, joy and happiness.
And for this year I created my vision board on the powerful new moon on 30 December that marked the beginning of a new cycle. I chose the images that I charged with energies of joy, beauty, abundance and magical moments that I want to create this year so I can share them with others. I created this powerful vision board with pictures, symbols, and colors, that help me to embody the energies (feelings and emotions) that I want to call into my life experience.
