Tonight, the sky is full of wonder — and so is Lilly’s heart.
She looked up and gasped. The moon was HUGE! It glowed so bright and beautiful, like a lantern hung just for her in the sky. Velora the Raven circled once and landed softly nearby, her black feathers shimmering with tiny sparkles of starlight. Luna the Unicorn stepped into the clearing, silver mane catching the moon’s glow.
“Why is the moon so big tonight?” Lilly asked in a whisper.
“It’s a supermoon,” Velora said gently. “That means the moon is closer to Earth than usual. It looks bigger and brighter — and its light can help you see what’s been hiding inside your heart.”
Lilly tilted her head, curious. “Like what?”
Luna stepped closer, her soft nose nuzzling Lilly’s hand. “Dreams you’ve been keeping small,” she said. “Fears you’re ready to let go of. A supermoon helps you remember how strong and magical you are.”
Lilly smiled. She thought about the times she worried she was “too much” or maybe “not enough.” She thought about how sometimes she hides her special gifts, just in case someone might not understand.
But tonight the supermoon seemed to whisper:
“Shine, little one. Your light matters.”
So, Lilly stood tall in the moonlight. She closed her eyes and said softly:
“I release the fear that I am too much or not enough.
I am magical and brave. I shine my light.”
Velora ruffled her wings. Luna gave a joyful toss of her mane. The forest seemed to glow a little brighter.
And just like that, Lilly felt lighter — like the moon had scooped away the worries and filled her heart with courage.
