Bible Study: Exposing the False Religion and False Messiah

1. Introduction: A Warning from Scripture

Jeremiah 16:19 – “The nations shall come… and say, ‘Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.’”

Matthew 24:4–5 – Yahusha Himself warned: “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name… and shall deceive many.”

👉 From the beginning, the Scriptures warned us that the world would be deceived—even those who thought they were following the Messiah.

2. The Root of the Problem: Changing Yahuah’s Name and Word

Jeremiah 8:8–9 – The scribes “have falsified the Torah of Yahuah.”

• The Creator’s name, Yahuah (יהוה), was removed over 6,000 times in most English Bibles and replaced with LORD or God.

Proverbs 30:4 asks: “What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, if you can tell?”

→ If the names were removed or altered, people could be tricked into worshiping another.

3. The False Religion: Christianity

• Christianity claims to follow Messiah, but teaches against Torah:

• Sunday worship (replacing the 7th-day Sabbath) – Exodus 20:8–11

• Pagan feasts like Christmas and Easter instead of Yahuah’s appointed times – Leviticus 23

• A lawless gospel that rejects Torah – 1 John 2:3–4

Revelation 18:4 – Yahuah calls His people to “come out of her, My people” (Babylon = false religious system).

👉 Christianity is built on mixing truth with pagan tradition, producing a counterfeit religion.

4. The False Messiah: “Jesus”

• The Greek/Latin name “Jesus” has no connection to the Hebrew name given by the Father.

Acts 4:12 – “There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”

• The true name is Yahusha (יהושע) = “Yahuah is salvation.”

• “Jesus” is tied to the Greek deity Iesous, linked with Zeus. Over time, the enemy used this to replace Yahusha’s identity with a lawless figure who abolished Torah.

2 Corinthians 11:4 warns of “another Yahusha, another spirit, another gospel.”

👉 Christianity presents a messiah who approves lawlessness, contrary to the real Yahusha who upheld Torah.

5. The Real Messiah: Yahusha the Torah-Keeper

Matthew 5:17–19 – He did not come to abolish the Torah, but to fulfill and uphold it.

John 14:15 – “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

Revelation 14:12 – The true remnant are those who “keep the commandments of Elohim and the faith of Yahusha.”

👉 Yahusha calls His followers to obedience—not to follow man-made religion.

6. How the Deception Spread

• Roman Catholicism (Constantine, 4th century) mixed paganism with Scripture, creating Christianity.

• Names were altered, Torah dismissed, festivals replaced.

• Protestant churches carried over the same foundations, only changing a few surface doctrines.

• Thus, nearly all of Christianity still serves under the deception.

7. The Call to Return

Deuteronomy 30:1–3 – In the last days, Yahuah’s people will return to His Torah.

Jeremiah 6:16 – “Ask for the old paths… and walk in it.”

Revelation 12:17 – The true believers are those who “keep the commandments of Elohim and have the testimony of Yahusha.”

8. Conclusion: Choose Truth Over Tradition

• You cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24).

• Christianity presents a false messiah and false gospel of lawlessness.

• The Scriptures call us back to Yahuah, His Torah, and His true Messiah Yahusha.

✨ Final Challenge Question:

Are you following the Messiah who kept Torah and called for obedience—or the counterfeit “Jesus” who abolished it?
