I am utilizing two printers for these editions: BookVault and IngramSpark. BookVault is the printer that is integrated with this shop. IngramSpark, unfortunately, does not offer integration.
Which Books Are Being Printed Where?
The Deluxe Editions are only available through BookVault. They are printed in the UK and ship worldwide. For info about tariffs and import fees, see below. (TL;DR: If you are in the US, you should not be charged these, but there's an important caveat about this, so keep reading.)
The Special Editions are available through both BookVault and IngramSpark. The BookVault editions are printed and shipped from the UK. These are what is available through this PayHip store. Because they're shipping from the UK, shipping to the US will be significantly more expensive, so if you're located in the US and would like a more affordable shipping option, I recommend you use the IngramSpark buy links that are included on each product listing. This option is only available for US addresses, unfortunately.
The Anniversary Edition Paperbacks are available through both BookVault and IngramSpark. The BookVault editions are printed and shipped from a variety of different facilities worldwide. These are what is available through this PayHip store. While there is a US print facility available, combined shipping is still about double what it is through IngramSpark, so if you're located in the US and would like a more affordable shipping option, I recommend you use the IngramSpark buy links that are included on each product listing. This option is only available for US addresses, unfortunately.
If I Order Through IngramSpark, Can I Combine Shipping?
Yes, you can, but it is not intuitive! You will need to add your first book to the cart, view cart, and enter your shipping information. THEN, after that is entered and saved, go back and click the link for any additional books you would like to order. It will automatically add those books to the cart, and then it will combine shipping. You can't add all the books to the cart before you enter your shipping info, or it will erase everything from the cart except the last one you clicked. I know, their ecommerce system is NOT user-friendly, and I do apologize for that. I am only offering this option because the shipping for the US is less than half the cost than it is for BookVault (even for the more premium shipping options!), and I know that may be an important consideration for some customers.
If I Order Through BookVault (This Storefront), Will I Be Charged Tariffs?
You should not be charged tariffs or import fees if you live in the USA (I don't know about other countries, it depends on whether your country tariffs books or if books are exempt for you). However, if you select FedEx as your shipping option, you may incorrectly be charged import fees. This is a known issue with FedEx. BookVault recommends that you select the non-FedEx shipping option. Why FedEx isn't just turned off, I do not know. If you do use FedEx and wind up getting charged an import fee, you can dispute this! Make sure to contact their customer service, because books should not be charged import fees into the USA.
Can I Pay in Installments Through IngramSpark?
Paying in installments through Affirm or Klarna is only available if you order through this storefront, not IngramSpark, so if you need to pay in installments, make sure to get the BookVault editions available here on PayHip.
