M. L. Sexton began writing at 8 years old. From journaling, to songs, to poetry, and even screenplays. Writing was a way for her to escape, and when she wasn’t writing, she was reading.

She published her first book in 2012, and has been penning Black live across genres ever since.

When not writing, she’s chasing after a vivacious little boy, reading something queer and fantasy, and trying to adopt a vegan lifestyle, again.
