Too Young to Go, Too Late to Wait

Life gets in the way of posting.

Especially when you’re trying to make a living, find your charger, or remember why you walked into the kitchen.

But recently, life did more than get in the way.

Within a month, three people I know - one a close relative - passed away. All under 55.

Sudden. Unfair. No Warning.

Life gets in the way of posting.

It made me pause.

Not forever. Just long enough to remember that living isn’t in the list-ticking. Or even in the dreaming. It’s in the messy, inconvenient act of showing up.

It made me realise that most of us are either trying to do everything before it’s too late… or nothing at all because we’re too tired to move. Midlife seems to blur those two into one giant emotional slush.

That’s partly why I wrote Jetset Before You Forget. Not as a productivity pep talk or another “you got this, girl” manual, but a slightly unhinged love letter to what happens when you decide to go anyway — even if you’re not entirely sure where.

It recently hit #1 in Amazon’s Travel Humour new releases. Which was unexpected and a little ironic, considering how often I get lost in airports, in life really.

If you ever feel the need to rediscover that spark or just a break from the noise, this book is for you.
