Maria Sheeran is a former global Marketing Director and MBA who knows what it’s like to live, work and survive in a foreign language.

She was born and raised in Cincinnati, USA, but her 15-year Marketing Communications career has taken her far beyond. She has held roles in the B2B technology industry based in London, New York, Amsterdam, Munich, Geneva and Cincinnati.

Passionate about languages, Maria took the opportunity while living and working abroad to learn German, Dutch, French and Spanish.

Maria founded English to Excel in 2022 to help people improve their Business English for career advancement, richer travel experiences and broader networks.

In her free time, Maria can be found spending time with her husband and son, working out or cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. She and her family live in both the Bahamas and the US.
