One of my favorite things to do is design and make print on demand items with patterns!
Wether they are geometric patterns, holiday clipart patterns, or ANY other style, I just love patterns!
In a recent video I shared some cool tools that you can use to make print on demand patterns & seamless patterns, alongside theme/motif ideas for patterns, and a HUGE show & tell of multiple print on demand items made with Patterns!

As the video was an OVERVIEW video filled with different tools and ideas, I thought it would be even more helpful to include some links to individual tutorials on these tools & products that you can use and sell print on demand patterns!
Recommended Tools to make Print on Demand Patterns:
~ CANVA ~
You can use Canva to create print on demand patterns in several ways and methods:
- Using simple squares with elements on them
- Placing clipart/text on the side of the canvas, and duplicating it to the other side
- Using an abstract image (made digitally or physically) and mirroring it on the canvas.
This Printful towel was made with clipart of cute cows, aligned using Canva on top of the Canva Diamond Pattern background, and was featured in THIS Summer products video!

~ PROCREATE ~
Procreate is a great design app that you can use to create beautiful illustrations, unique clipart, and of course- seamless patterns!
There are mainly 3 ways in which I create seamless patterns using Procreate, and they were all covered in this Youtube Tutorial!
While you can create your patterns from scratch, you can also use Procreate brushes to help you make cool patterns and seamless patterns for print on demand (and other projects).

~ CF SPARK ~
Creative Fabrica's in-house AI Art Generator, CF Spark, is a great way to make SEAMLESS patterns!
Their pattern maker actually creates TILEable patterns!
In order to use this tool you'll need a membership to Creative Fabrica, which will also grant you access to download clipart/patterns as much as you want!

~ REPPER ~
Repper APP is probably one of my favorite tools to create seamless patterns, and a tool that I made LOADS of videos about: How to use Repper for Society6 huge items, Creating repeat patterns for Redbubble, how to use Repper to make coloring pages, and more! ~ LEXICA AI ~
While Lexica AI is not the best tool to create seamless patterns, you can still use it to create patterns!
These patterns can be used AS IS on small products (like a notebook), or made bigger with online tools like BIG JPG (Full tutorial here).
