It’s the 21st January. For the past three weeks, I have been proofreading and making final edits for my espionage thriller.
Yesterday, I ordered the physical proof copies of both the paperback and hardback editions of Classified. The proof copies should be arriving in the next couple of weeks.
I’ve also set up the ebook, paperback and hardback editions of Classified as preorders.
Assuming everything goes well with both proofs, I won’t need to do any more changes and can focus on the marketing side of the publishing process. Otherwise, I would need another round of proofs. I suspect the hardback to look great. However, the paperback… I’m half expecting there to be issues with the inner margins. I hope I’m wrong. This is why I’ve set the release date as 1st April. It allows plenty of time for adjustments, if needed.

Once I’ve approved the new proofs, when everything is ready, I’ll start stocking up on the inventory. I want to make sure I have enough on hand by the release date, and then, I’m going to be going live across social media. Direct sales, bought from my livestreams, will come with a signed bookmarks and the books will be autographed during the livestream.
Next week, there’ll be a vote on the quote from Classified, to be printed on the bookmarks. I’m really excited about it.
In other news, I’ve started the planning process for my next book. It’s going to be a psylogical thriller called Sinful Nights. I’m looking forward to getting to the writing part, though right now, I’m at the outlining stage. I bought a new pinboard for the occasion.
If you want to see my updates behind the scenes, you’ll find my playlist here of my Classified chaos.
