Welcome to Michi Coloring site, in this post we are going to brief you our publications up to this date.
We started our journey by selling simple coloring pages on Etsy back in August 2024. It was our first step into coloring world but our shop didn't do well. At that time, not many knew about the coloring trend with alcohol markers at least here in Malaysia. We have never expected that just after a few months, the coloring trend blew up! (and many of them even already got their hands on 320 Ohuhu markers set! Isn't this such a pricey hobby but here we are..)
After many consideration, we decided to publish our books on Amazon KDP. We were happy to get two of our titles available in October 2024.

Then, we received many requests to publish our book, Comfy Me-Time locally because it was quite difficult for most of our local coloring enthusiasts to purchase directly from Amazon (esp. with high shipping rate). So, we set up our first online shop on TikTok marketplace in November 2024. However, our TikTok shop can only be accessed locally. Then, we set up our shop on Malaysian largest online marketplace, Shopee. After getting an invitation to Shopee International Platform program, our shop now can be accessed by neighboring countries with Shopee platform.
We decided to reach more colorists with more coloring books because different people have different interests. Our first two publications have object and scenery theme, yet many seem to prefer character theme coloring books especially the cute ones!

So, on 20 December 2024, we launched two volumes of character theme coloring books locally, Dolly Minihouse series. We also released A6 landscape mode books because there are many who just want a simple daily coloring that won't take too much time. It was a challenge to design and manufacture this book size. We're happy with the acceptance of it from the local coloring community.

After getting plenty of requests from international interested colorists, we published our Dolly Minihouse series on Amazon KDP in January 2024. We also made the digital coloring books available because there are some colorists who are interested in Procreate coloring instead of physical books contacted us. Despite knowing the risk of easily getting our book pirated, we decided to go along with building this website. Especially now that there are too many stolen publications being printed and made available massively on online marketplace. We personally feel that this is so wrong, especially if you're doing affiliate with these books. But, we believe that true coloring enthusiasts will always support the original. That's when you get to appreciate the value of the products.
