Publishing a new concept out of thousands familiar coloring books was a challenge. Colorists may need some time to adapt to new coloring techniques & tips.
Special Dolly Minihouse - Town Build was designed to portray a 2D game concept which contains tiny elements in the scene. So, the coloring area may be limited and the use of alcohol markers may cause ink bleeding. In this page, we are listing some suggestions and tips to prevent this and attain enjoyable coloring moment.
TIPS #1
Use a blank paper on top of a waterproof sheet behind the coloring page. This blank paper helps to absorb excess ink because the waterproof sheet like plastic or PVC sheet prevent the bleed through but cannot hold the excess ink which cause it to spread out of the outline.

TIPS #2
Control the brush tip pressure in the tiny area. Avoid pressing the brush to prevent excess ink flow. The best practice is to start applying the brush further away from the outline.

TIPS #3
Use other than alcohol markers to color the small area such as gel pens, color pencil or acrylic markers. Also, because shading technique uses a lot of ink application, you may use color pencil to add a gradient or texture effect on top of the base color which uses alcohol ink.

The highly detailed coloring page may be overwhelming to some people but coloring pages like this should not be in one sitting. Enjoy the process a little bit at a time, daily or weekly and remember to have fun.
Hope you enjoy the coloring process. Happy coloring!
